EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art
EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art is Finland’s largest art museum. EMMA presents a broad selection of Finnish and international contemporary art, design, and modern art. Its permanent exhibitions feature the collections of Saastamoinen Foundation, Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation, and Collection Kakkonen. In addition, the museum hosts numerous temporary exhibitions each year.
EMMA is located at the WeeGee Exhibition Centre, in the heart of Tapiola, Espoo. The museum building is an iconic example of concrete brutalist architecture, designed by Professor Aarno Ruusuvuori in the 1960s as a printing house.
With a single ticket, you can visit EMMA, KAMU Espoo City Museum, the Mauri Kunnas exhibition, and, during the summer season, the Futuro House. Restaurant Delicatessen WeeGee and the EMMA Shop are also at your service.
